In Store News for Sept. 8, 2009



We admit that we’re “suckers” for packaging, and with an 8-year-old taste-tester in the family, we managed to find candy that meets both our aesthetic needs, and our guy’s sweet tooth. Visit our Amherst store for a selection of some of the cutest and tastiest candies we could find. Massive lollipops, SKY Bars, French chew bars in vanilla and chocolate, and French sucking candies–good-looking AND tasting.


September is an exciting time at the stores. All of the fun things we ordered in the Spring and Summer finally start to arrive–along with students and professors. We have received a TON of new merchandise at both stores and we’re busy merchandising. Below is a small snapshot of our “back to school” window in Northampton, complete with things you “need” for school and the things that just make school, and life, more fun.


The entire gang is particularly excited about the newest addition to the stores: K.WAY rain jackets for women and children. Originally created in Paris in 1965, the jackets come in fantastic colors, shield you from wind and rain, and pack into a pouch when the weather clears. They are fully waterproof but in addition to their technical merits, have a great retro sense of design. We have many different colors, but only a few of each so get them while you can.
