For those of you who come to the store often, you know what a great staff we have. Sydne and I sure do, and last night we treated them to a night out with David Sedaris as a small token of our appreciation. We closed the Northampton store a little early and all met for some yummy food from Amherst Chinese. After sharing some pu-pu platters and other treats, and discussing important topics of conversation such as “what TV shows are you watching right now,” we headed over to the Fine Arts Center to see the man himself. David Sedaris, was, as usual, hilarious. Sydne’s favorite moment was when he shared his curiosity of smelling potatoes fried in the fat from his soon-to-be-removed fatty tumor, and the fact that his cat would most likely enjoy eating his tonsils. Hannah mentioned liking the part of the performance when he worked in the idea of eating a baby. Sounds weird? It is. Also effing gutt-busting.

All in all a good night out. We love our staff. Here is (almost) all of us after the performance. I am holding the phone and missing from the photo are Emily, Ella S., and Rose.
