Barcelona equals Antoni Gaudi, a Spanish architect who was famous for his unique designs. This makes sense since his works can be seen throughout the city. His designs can be characterized by curves borrowed from nature and by his unique style of mosaic using tiles. On the other hand, Barcelona has two faces: one is intricate streets of the Old City of Barcelona, Gothic quarter, and another is well-organized overall districts of Barcelona as a modern city. Combining these characteristics of Barcelona and Gaudi together, the whole city is visualized as a neat pattern with irregular curves. Railways and landmarks are laid out over it. Fare zone, parks and Mediterranean sea are distinguished by distinct colors of mosaics.
